Peter Som is simply amazing, and when he joined forces with Christian Louboutin for several seasons, the result was beyond belief. The Louboutin’s for Som shows combined virtually ever color, pattern and material from suede to patent leather and delicate satin.
The AW 2007 collection combined pattent leather with mirrored heels. We were all delighted when the “Som1″ became available for purchase.

A leopard/brown patent version with 1 ankle strap was sold exclusively to Neiman Marcus and retailed for $1,030. The version below was never produced for retail- only a few of the actual runway shoes are floating around the auction sites.

The Som1s made it from the runway to retail, and a few runway gems made it to the auction sites. Some of us lucky ladies were able to purchase the grey, orange and olive patent 120 versions. If you have pictures please send them in to share!

This collection brought to life some of the most unique Louboutin collections we’ve seen yet! Patent, glittart, velvet, suede, satin: all in one shoe! The double exposed platform came to life and glittart burst into retail locations.
